CISS IS LOOKING FOR A NEW HOME
As most of you know, our tenure at Terry Airport is drawing to a close. We have been quietly asked by airport management and the Hamilton County Airport Board to take up operations elsewhere in 2004. The current thought behind moving is to find a temporary home while acquiring land to build a permanent home. Club meetings are now specifically important and your input is needed as this will directly affect you, the member. This event is going to require the help of everyone. Watch your e-mail's and stay tuned!

Three Thousand Three Hundred Thank You's!
Matt Gering has the wonderful distinction of being Bob Gillan's 3,300th student flight. Congratulations Bob and many more!
Bob Gillan reached a milestone this past September on the 21st by completing his 3,300 instructional flight. To give you an idea what that means, it roughly comes to an instructional flight every day for the past 10 years. Thank you for all you do Bob!

New Members:

Mike Nichols – We are happy to have Mike Nichols back in our regular member ranks. Mike has previously been a CISS Tow Pilot and is also active in other aviation endeavors. Welcome back, Mike. Mike's regular office is in the left hand seat of an ATA B-737 and he is also a pilot for the foundation which flys the PV2 out of Mt Comfort. We look forward to seeing you back with us, Mike.

John Morrical – John and his wife Karen just moved to Carmel for retirement. John was a Navy pilot then had a career in banking while keeping his hand on the throttle. John has SEL, MEL, INST, CFII, and GLI ratings; 6800 hrs plus 32 hrs in gliders. We are fortunate that John met Charlie Epperson at an equestrian event, Charlie will be John's Mentor.

Craig Bixby – Craig comes to us via two introductory rides in Nevada. He realized flying gliders is another dimension of flight and feels it will help him improve his power flying. Craig holds a Private SEL and INST rating with 675 hrs and is an A&P. Craig Works in Aircraft Maintenance Training at Chautauqua Airlines.

Judith & Frank Hatten – Frank and Jude have joined as Family Members and both have already had their first flights. Jude having an opportunity to learn to fly is their primary goal. We hope however that Frank gets the bug as he has SEL and A&P ratings, 823 tot hrs. incl. 565 tailwheel. Frank works as a race car mechanic at Herdez Competition and Judith manages a health food store in Castleton. Frank and Judith live in Brownsburg. Cheryl Beckage will be Jude's Mentor.
