NEXT MEETING: 7:00pm MARCH 20, 2003 AT LEPERT AND HENSLEY

Yes, There Was A Banquet - Barely!
Winter continues to rage, yet all were warm at this year's banquet at the Five Seasons club this past February 22nd. Near blizzard conditions dumping four to six inches of snow in parts descended on top Indianapolis and again hampered any traveling. But, a few brave CISS souls made their way into the dark to share an evening of food and camaraderie. Director of Ops, Dave Newill, again did a wonderful job as the evening's host. The keynote speaker was to be Dan Montgomery, but the weather had other plans in mind for his schedule. The torch was passed from outgoing president Tom Ruble to newly elected leader Kurt Ristow - be sure to ask Tom about his parting gift! The current board members were acknowledged and a special recognition by the SSA to Bob Gillan was presented (see special article). Aside from the dinner and fellowship, the reason we were at the Five Seasons was to hand out some awards. The following is a list of the top honors and some photos of what you may have missed.
