GLIDER TRAINING CAMP.
To provide an opportunity for concentrated training toward a specific objective, Mike Rielage and Nyal Williams are putting together a week of glider training at Alexandria Airport, April 19-23, 2004 (Mon-Fri).
The camp has priority use for club equipment and, in return for the commitment of a day, the trainee can expect to get three flight with (normally) the same instructor. Commit for more days - more training.

Welcome Gerry Whitson to CISS Membership, I'm sure you will find your transition training a valuable asset and your learning to use nature's forces an exciting and scenic way to get around. You will receive an ID and password to get into the members section of the web page. Lynn Joyce our Chief Tow Pilot will be in touch and will also be your Mentor as you go through training and become acclimated to the club. Of course, we are all available to answer questions, while the Mentor role is to be more a confidant and sounding board if needed. Expect to get an invoice from Jim White, Treasurer for dues and flight fees monthly as they are accrued. Pete Detore, Director of Operations, will be assigning you to a ground crew until you are ready to spread your wings as a Tow Pilot. Again, welcome.
