Safety
Briefing (continued) The Pilot In Command is responsible for the aircraft - hence you should do the walk around before every flight. Flight Safety Know your in flight tow signals! See the video! Go to the soaring society web site and take the Wing Runner Course - get the certificate! Go to www.soaringsafety.org or www.ssa.org and click on soaring safety. Please take the wing runner course - it may surprise you with the test! Most people do not get 100%! Check out the accident reports - read one and learn why it happened - then learn from that. Not pretty, but very instructive. -Dave Newill |
