From Westfield
to Alexandria Airport
- Beginning at
Westfield stoplight, go 12 miles north to East Union Christian Church
on right side. This road is the dividing line between Tipton and Hamilton
Counties, and is marked as such. SET ODOMETER TO ZERO AT THE CHURCH
AND TURN RIGHT.
- Drive through
Atlanta, about 5 miles and continue straight east.
- Cross Hwy 13
running north/south. This road is 14 miles east of Hwy 31. Cross Hwy
31 and continue east. Beginning here, the road becomes County road
128. Continue east to Frankton, which is 18 miles fromEast Union Christian
Church.
- T-road with stop
sign at west edge of Frankton, turn left, (heading north).
- Take right turn
in this road (next block) head east to first stop sign (Washington
Street, Bill’s Guns on southeast corner).
- Turn right (south)
and drive _ mile to graveyard (Clyde St.).
- Turn left (east)
drive through Frankton, passing highschool on left, then grade school
on right.
- Continue east
to Hwy. 9 stoplight (4 lanes, but 2 on west side under construction.
Hwy 9 is 25 miles from East Union Christian Church.
- Turn left (north)
and drive one mile to first café on road (Hi-Way Café).
Sign here points to the right to airport).
- Turn right (east)
at airport sign and drive 1.2 miles to Knotts airport on right side
of road.
